So, I know this isn't really a Mac OS X Snow Leopard issue per se, but I am writing a shell script to search a subtree and delete any hidden files it finds - i.e. File names that start with a dot (.) (.DSStore,.svn/, dot files let behind from smb connections, etc.).

Terraformers is a strategy game designed with the goal of providing the user with a futuristic touch interface feeling when controlling his units.

With a mac myou need to indentify and unmount the disk before you use dd use terminal on a mac sudo diskutil list /dev/disk2 (external, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: FDiskpartitionscheme.32.0 GB disk2 1: WindowsFAT32 ⁨MININGOS⁩ 1.1 GB disk2s1 2: Linux ⁨⁩ 524.3 MB disk2s2 (free space) 30.4 GB.
2. Launch the App Store on your Mac (click on the blue icon containing a white A, or search by pressing space+command and typing App Store). Search for macOS. Click on Get (older versions of the App Store might have a Download button).
3. Actually, the command you entered reserved exactly 8 GB of space for the 14 and 15 volumes. However, this includes 134,217,728 bytes of free space between each hfs+ formatted partition. These kinds of obscure requirements generally go away when APFS is used. Here is how I determined the correct value was 15887144s. The sector size is 512 bytes.
